It’s Friday…and I can’t wait for Monday. Because on Monday I get to go back to work.

At the previous companies I have worked at Friday was different. Friday meant that I am now on the verge of breaking away from work to enjoy a short weekend respite away from the daily grind. Not so at Omniture. I have only worked here for a week and a half and I already love this company. The building is awesome, the people are awesome, the culture is awesome, and (most importantly) the product is awesome. Because of this, the huge amount of training that I have gone through has actually been fun. Just think about this for a second: why are your normal work meetings so boring? Well, I hate to break it to you but it’s because some (if not all) of the attributes I just mentioned are also boring.

Here’s an example. Just yesterday I learned about multi-suite tagging. Previously, I thought that combining report suites in SiteCatalyst was limited to a roll-up report suite. True, both methods have their costs and benefits, but just the fact that Omniture can do it is awesome, the fact that it’s available to clients and can help them make money by improving their information is awesome, and the fact that I’m now that smarter and more prepared is awesome.

Well, I realize that might not sound so exciting to other people; however, the bottom line is this–if you are looking for a place to work and you would make a good fit here, I strongly suggest finding a way to get yourself a job with Omniture.
