This competition was put on by Omniture and the BYU eBusiness Center. A total of 30+ teams signed up for the event, 14 were able to get their act together in time to present at the semi-finals, four made it to the finals, and then there was only one winner. Fortunately, that winner was me!

It was a fun competition and I was amazed that I even made it to the finals. I started preparations for the semi-finals the night before and then I redid most of my slides after the semi-finals and finished those about 10 minutes before the final event was scheduled to start. That means that I gave the presentation without having practiced–a big no no. However, even though it wasn’t very polished I guess I still did well. Or, rather, at least I did better than everyone else. I’m just glad that I can now go to bed before 3am.
