Google asks “Was This Link Useful?”
I usually don’t click on sponsored links at all, but today I did and saw something new.
Now, if you click on a sponsored link while using Google and then hit the Back button, you will see the question “Was this link useful?” next to the link that you returned from. You can then provide your feedback by selecting Yes or No.
User feedback is a great way to quickly perfect a site. Doing this on a high-traffic site like google.com is a sure way to get a lot of feedback. I wonder if this was something that was piloted on Google’s Search Mash?
