Google is offering $10 off on every purchase you make over $30. Here is a list of stores that are supporting the promotion.

I was about to buy some items (a bluetooth headset and memory card for my phone) that I found at a pretty good deal. However, the first deal was even better when I saw a button that said “Save $10 on your purchase by using Google Checkout.” Then, instead of buying the memory card from the place I planed to, I looked at the list of stores offering Google Checkout and found a comparable item. I then was able to take advantage of the $10 discount. Each of the items that I bought were between $30-40, so I was saving around 30%. That is a great deal!

This is a great way to save your customers some money for those of you with an ecommerce site. Not only will you appear philanthropic but you will benefit from the additional spending that this encourages.
