Yahoo Time Capsule

Yahoo is creating a digital time capsule. Users are encouraged to submit thoughts, photos, writings, videos, audio, and drawings so that future generations can see what things were like in 2006. You can also make comments on others’ submissions. The time capsule will run for 30 days, from October 10 until November 8. Only 14 days left!

It’s good to see that the category for love is, by far, larger than some of the other, more-negative categories like hate and sorrow. In fact, if we create a graph using the number of entries for each category and divide that by the total we could come up with some interesting information. I guess the result would signify what the average human brain thinks about. Or, rather, what the average human would like others to think that they think about. Here it is:Time Capsule Results

The Flash piece used for the project is very cool, too. You can’t help but to play with it. Jonathan Harris is the creator and it looks like he has a bunch of other neat items in his portfolio.
