Results for Definition of Entrepreneurship

The results of a Google search for “what is entrepreneurship?” are interesting. The next result after books are web definitions for entrepreneurship that read:

Entrepreneurship is “the process of looking at things in such a way that possible solutions to problems and perceived needs may evolve in venturing.” Ethics Standards and dealings based on morals and values. Feasibility Is an idea feasible? Can the idea be made to work? Many people would like to travel into space but it will be a long time before a tourist industry based on space travel is feasible.

I think that the last sentence in particular in interesting in light of Virgin Galactic that was started by the famous entrepreneur Richard Branson. The site says “Virgin Galactic is the world’s first spaceline. Giving you the groundbreaking opportunity to become one of the first ever non-professional astronauts….It is these spaceships that will allow affordable sub-orbital space tourism for the first time in the history of the universe.”

Now that’s entrepreneurship! Transforming “long time before [feasible]” to feasible…today.
