Coursecasting
I read on CNet today that UC Berkeley is now putting some courses online at Google Video. This is similar to the article I read announcing that Yale will also post lectures online for people to view for free.
With all the not-so-good things on the Internet it is nice that worthwhile content is available. I often view the videos on the TED blog that are very interesting and educational. With these additional lectures online, I look forward to rounding out my education. I realize that without the pressure of assignments and test I may not learn to the extent of a real classroom experience; however, it’s also nice to be able to listen to qualified lecturers without committing to the tuition.
